Cookie Policy
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners. Cookies allow websites to remember your preferences, improve your browsing experience, and provide personalized content.
2. How We Use Cookies
eSIM KH uses cookies for the following essential purposes:
- Authentication Cookies: Required for user login and session management. These cookies are set by Supabase (our authentication provider) to maintain your login session securely.
- Security Cookies: Help protect your account and prevent unauthorized access.
Note: We do not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising, or marketing purposes. We use localStorage and sessionStorage for caching and storing user preferences (such as admin test product visibility), but these are separate from cookies and are not shared with third parties.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Authentication Cookies (Essential)
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are set by Supabase to:
- Maintain your login session
- Remember your authentication state
- Secure your account access
- Enable features that require authentication (e.g., viewing order history, making purchases)
These cookies are typically session cookies that expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies that expire after a set period of inactivity for security purposes.
3.2 Future Cookie Usage
If we add analytics, performance monitoring, or other cookie-based services in the future, we will update this policy accordingly. Currently, we do not use:
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Marketing or advertising cookies
- Social media integration cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may set cookies:
- Supabase: Our authentication provider sets cookies to manage user sessions securely. These cookies are essential for the website to function.
- Payment Processors: When you make a purchase, payment processors may set cookies for security and fraud prevention purposes. These are typically session cookies.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing services that would set additional cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
You have control over cookies. Most web browsers allow you to:
- View and delete cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Important: If you disable or block authentication cookies, you will not be able to log in to your account or access features that require authentication. These cookies are essential for the website to function properly.
6. Browser-Specific Instructions
To manage cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data

7. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Currently, there is no standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
8. Cookie Duration
Cookies may be either "persistent" or "session" cookies:
- Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser
- Persistent Cookies: Remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them
9. Updates to This Cookie Policy
